PAM – Paderborn database administration – is a computer program to evaluate and administrate material data in the field of Plastic Technology. PAM has been developed at the Paderborn Institute of Synthetic/Plastic Technology (KTP) to open  new possibilities to the user in the field of material data administration. With the use of PAM, data sets can be created, evaluated and compared. The user can also  access the already existing pool of data.  

PAM offers the user the following options:  

1. Administration of material data
2. Importing and Exporting of material- and blend data
3. Loading  measurements or manual input
4. Evaluation of the measurements
5. Searching for and Comparing different polymers
6. Creation of material databases

The program PAM has been developed within the scope of the collaborative projects of research REX/PSI and SIGMA and has an interface to other programs of the KTP (REX, PSI, SIGMA, PADICAD). Therefore, we would like to thank all project participants, whose efforts and results made it possible to realise the creation and development of this simulation software.
