After starting the program by double-clicking on the shortcut, the main window of the program PAM appears. Within the main window the following menu items can be found:

• File
• Material
• Regression
• Diagram
• Options
• Info

When opening PAM for the first time, Material Data and measurements have to be defined. Therefore look at the chapter Material menu, where the definition of the main data is explained.

By click and scroll down the strip material not selected the still applied materials can be chosen. Furthermore, words such as PP can be entered and displays the first material with the reference PP. Another option is to select the search function (binoculars) materials.
